For ESSHC 2025, we particularly encourage panels and papers that address gaps or long-overlooked aspects of global history, or topics that deal with pressing contemporary concerns in a historical perspective. These might include women’s and gender histories, histories addressing inequality and power, economic analyses in global history, transimperial histories, transnational perspectives on remembrance, or histories of multi-crisis, to name some examples. However, we are open to including all topics that aim to address the field of global history.
We encourage panel submissions with a diverse set of panelists from various status groups that include scholars from several universities and countries.
